Trauma & PTSD

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. For some, symptoms will start immediately following a traumatic event, but some may not develop systems until weeks, months, or even years after. It’s important to be aware of the signs so that if you find yourself struggling later, you can get help.

The basis for being a strong relationship partner or friend is having a strong communication. If a relationship in your life feels like it's not where you'd like, you can go attempt therapy  to learn and practice the skills to help maintain those relationships.

How you perceive and think about a stressor can also make a big impact on how you respond.
